Celebrating your first Christmas with a new puppy feels a little bit magical, and Milo fits that description perfectly. At just eight months old, this white-and-tan Maltipoo has already become the heart of Julie and Remi’s home. Curious, clever, and just mischievous enough to keep everyone laughing, he greeted us with his signature mix of nervous barks and tail-wagging excitement before settling right in.
We began the session inside, capturing cozy holiday portraits surrounded by festive décor. Milo obliged us with a Santa hat, a few head tilts, and plenty of charm. Julie and Remi snuggled him close, showing off the bond that has grown so naturally in their first year together.

From there, we took a walk through their quiet neighborhood, stopping at their favorite spots before heading toward the lake at the end of the street. It was the perfect backdrop for relaxed, outdoor photos that reflected their everyday life in this home before their upcoming move.

We wrapped up in the backyard, where Milo truly came alive. He chased his ball and showed off zoomies that could put any athlete to shame. His tongue-out run was a highlight, along with the sweet moments of Julie holding him like a baby and the spontaneous kisses he loves to give.
Sessions like this are why we love what we do. Milo’s joy, his “independent dependence,” and the love he shares with his family made this a special shoot from beginning to end.
