That’s why we offer Cherished Companion Sessions: gentle, meaningful photo sessions for aging or terminally ill pets.
What is a Cherished Companion Session?
A Cherished Companion Session is more than just a photo shoot. It’s a way to honor your pet’s life, personality, and the love you share while they are still with you. These sessions are designed to be calming, flexible, and completely focused on your pet’s comfort and joy.
We often hear, “I just want one last beautiful memory.” That’s exactly what we aim to create.
Why Schedule Sooner Rather Than Later?
It’s completely natural to wait. After all, no one wants to face the reality of saying goodbye. But we gently encourage families to schedule a session while their pet still has that familiar spark: a wagging tail, a warm gaze, that little smile you know so well.

What to Expect
- Location: Your home, backyard, or your pet’s favorite park – wherever they feel most relaxed. Find some of our favorite photo locations and in-home session guidance here.
- Pace: Unhurried, with plenty of breaks. We follow your pet’s energy.
- Tone: Gentle, loving, and compassionate.

We’ve been where you are. We’ve felt the anticipatory grief, the questioning, the heartbreak. That’s why these sessions matter so deeply to us. Let us help you celebrate your companion’s life, in all its quiet beauty.
What’s Included
- 60-minute on-location photo session focused on your four-legged friend at your home or another location of your choice. There is a $50 fee for each additional pet from the same household (which also includes 1 additional high-resolution digital image for you to download). A second location may be added for $75.
- Travel within 25 miles of zip code 34771. A travel fee applies to sessions outside of this area.
- Our time and talent to carefully curate and digitally edit approximately 30 images presented in an online proofing gallery so you can review and select your favorite images to order prints, digital files and/or products.
- 15 high-resolution digital images of your choosing with print authorization (this means you can print as many copies as you wish at the lab of your choice). Additional digital files and/or products are available for purchase separately.
- Priority scheduling – we always do our best to make time to fit you in for a session as soon as possible because time is of the essence.
- 10% discount on your print products order.
