You know what’s better than one pug? Eight of them! Kate and Brian brought their full pug crew to Cypress Grove Park for a lively, laughter-filled pet photography session that was equal parts chaos and charm.
This crew spans generations, from Raven, the curious three-month-old, to Lulu, a wise thirteen-year-old, with Loki, Lady, Lexi, Lynx, Harper, and Bao rounding out the pack. All fawn and black pugs, all unmistakably themselves. Some were enthusiastic people-lovers right out of the gate, others needed a moment to warm up, and the senior pups were perfectly content taking things at a slower pace. Very on brand for pugs.

Cypress Grove Park gave us gorgeous greenery and classic oak trees, but Mother Nature had her own plans. When the rain rolled in right as we were lining up the ultimate challenge, a full family portrait, everyone rallied. We tucked under cover, gathered all eight dogs plus Kate and Brian, and captured the image they’d been dreaming of. Proof that sometimes the best moments happen when plans change.

This session was about more than wrangling leashes and squeaky toys. It was about preserving a very real, very joyful stage of life. Eight dogs, two devoted humans, and a whole lot of personality packed into one frame.
