We recently had the pleasure of photographing Tripp, an 11-year-old Beagle mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears, during his Cherished Companion Session at Gaston Edwards Park in Orlando.

Tripp’s mom, LaKeisha, adopted him from a rescue center in Illinois when he was just 6 months old. Over the past 11 years, they’ve built a bond rooted in love, trust, and a shared love of simply spending time together. One of their favorite traditions, sitting side-by-side in front of the water, was something we knew we had to capture during their session.

True to his Beagle nature, Tripp spent the morning taking in every scent the park had to offer, his tail wagging as he explored. He’s an easygoing, affectionate boy who loves meeting new people, and he made sure to charm everyone who passed by. Between sniff breaks, he showed off his sweet, soulful eyes, with the promise of treats never far behind.

Tripp also made sure to enjoy plenty of attention from LaKeisha, leaning in for back scratches and belly rubs with his signature “please don’t stop” nose nudge. His gentle demeanor and loving spirit made every moment behind the camera a joy to capture.

We’re honored to have preserved these beautiful memories for LaKeisha – reminders of Tripp’s playful energy, warm heart, and the deep connection they share.
